Krka National Park
Enchanting waterfalls, lush nature, and spectacular viewpoints make this trip a must. Take a stroll along the river, go for a boat ride, and swim by the waterfalls! The entrance to the park is a 40-minute drive away (30 km).
Kornati National Park
The most diverse island ecosystem of the Adriatic with 140 islands, a true paradise for sailors! The visit is only possible by boat – choose organized excursions from Primošten and Šibenik or a private tour with the help of a local host.
Šibenik
A historical gem just 20 km away! Discover UNESCO landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. James and the Fortress of St. Nicholas, enjoy exquisite cuisine, and lose yourself in the charming stone streets.
Trogir
The best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic town in Central Europe, located on an islet between Čiovo and the mainland. Explore the historical core, the castle, the tower, and the famous Trogir Cathedral. It is 35 km away from Villa Propuh.
Boat trips
Whether you want to explore the untouched islands of the Šibenik archipelago (Zlarin, Prvić, Krapanj, Žirje, Kaprije), visit the Kornati or Telašćica, or simply enjoy swimming on hidden islets – the hosts will help you organize the perfect outing. For those with their own boat, we provide mooring during their stay.
Jurlinovi Dvori
A traditional stone family estate in the village of Draga, just a few minutes from Villa Propuh. Through the ethnographic and sacred collection, the life of families in the 19th and 20th centuries is revealed. An authentic and warm place that exudes history.
Sponge Museum, Krapanj
On the least populated island of the Adriatic, where sponge diving and processing have taken place since the 17th century, there is a unique museum dedicated to this tradition. You can reach Krapanj with a short boat taxi ride from Brodarica.
Croatian Coral Center, Zlarin
The story of the centuries-old tradition of coral hunting and jewelry making is told through this fascinating collection. Red corals are a part of the history, culture, and even traditional attire of Zlarin.
Church of St. Jurje, Prhovo
The first parish of the Šibenik diocese from 1298, located in the field below the Villa Propuh. The old Romanesque church has been upgraded by a newer church, and tourists eagerly attend the Sunday masses.
St. Jurje's Church, Primošten
A historic church from the 15th century, built of white stone, proudly stands at the top of the Primošten peninsula. After frequent attacks by the Turks, the parish moved from Prhovo to the coast, and Primošten became the new center.
Lady of Loreto
An impressive 17-meter statue of the protector of Primošten is located on Gaj Hill. Covered in a mosaic that tells a story, from the viewpoint around it, a captivating view of the sea and islands unfold. Nearby, there are also shrines in Vrpolje and Međugorje.
Sights of Primošten
While walking through Primošten, you will come across the Monument to the Laborer – dedicated to the donkeys that once carried all the burdens, the Primošten Fisherman – a symbol of fishing tradition, and the rare Primošten lace, which is still crafted by only a handful of women.
Bucavac Vineyards
Spectacular vineyards of the indigenous variety Babić, located 6 km from Villa Propuh. The dry-stone walls that protect the fertile land create a scene of stone lace, and the wine from this region is a true ambassador of the sun, sea, and the hard work of dedicated winemakers.
Harvest
Have you ever participated in the harvest of grapes, almonds, or olives? Here you have the opportunity to experience an authentic Mediterranean way of life! At the end of August and the beginning of September, grapes and almonds are harvested, while olives ripen for harvest at the end of October and the beginning of November. At this time, from October to February, you can experience the thrilling squid hunting.
Spring brings an abundance of medicinal herbs perfect for liqueurs and herbal spirits, and wild asparagus is the perfect ingredient for a healthy and delicious meal.
