Agritourism

A stingy land keeps its treasure

Old stone courtyards and stone roofs will transport every visitor back in time. Fifty, a hundred, or even more years old stone roofs withstand the test of time and offer a glimpse of tradition and the flavour of rural life when the lives of the people in this area were tied to agriculture, a kilometre or two inland from the sea, long before tourism and coastal living even existed. Here, far from the hustle and bustle of tourists, you will enjoy the richness of flavours of olive oil, fresh figs that you can pick yourself, or those dried figs that are sun-dried without preservatives. You can also try marinated anchovies, homemade prosciutto and cheese in oil, salted sardines, herbal brandy, and the indigenous Babić, the most famous red wine of the region.

The most famous agritourism you can visit in the nearby villages around Villa Propuh are Jurlinovi Dvori, Baćulov Dvor, Oaza Jelinjak, Šarićevi Dvori, and Galjin Dvor.

If you wish to take home some homemade virgin olive oil, dried figs, cheese in oil, or Babic wine, not far from Villa Propuh, there are also several family farms (OPG Čobanov) in the village itself.
